Is it possible to remove the status bar at the bottom of the screen while reading an epub? I am using a PB 602 Thanks in advance, Micha |

It is, but not in AdobeReader. If you choose fbreader or fbreader180 it is. For fbreader go to main menu -> configuration -> key mapping and set one button to "Hide panel". This will make the bar disappear, but you have to do it everytime you reopen the book or restart the reader.
For fbreader180 do the same and then open a book, go to settings -> page 2 -> "Disable status, show info instead" set to "Until key pressed", then go to "Advanced settings" -> status replacement info content and select the stuff you like. Now pressing the preselected button will open a popup window with the selected points. If you are new to fbreader180, you also have to set position in text to "percent(floating)", otherwise pageturn will jump from chapter to chapter iso pages Have fun while toying around |
