I know the feeling, but it looks as if in my neck of the swamp anyway there will be several days of sunshine. I'll take a drive around the neighborhood later and see if it's dry enough for a walk with Norton. I hope so. Even I shouldn't sweat in the 67°F high predicted for today.

Nice day, today, but I divided the day between the minivan and indoors. It rained yesterday and it'll rain tomorrow, but at least the weekend's looking good!

No rain today, no rain yesterday, and the ground is still ago soaked from all the days leading up that. Mud and puddles are still everywhere.

Beautiful day, today, but very "November." We had bright sun with a few clouds moving quickly across the sky. It was chilly, with a high temperature of about 60° and very strong winds. But, the sun made it warm enough to read on the deck, for a while. It's a lot easier to read on an ereader -- as opposed to a book with pages -- in the wind!

Very sunny, today, but the high temps were in the 40s (F) and it's still very windy out there! Too cold for reading on the back deck. (And far too windy to replace that storm door on the front of the house. Oh, well. I'll have to get to it during the week.)

Tried to do some raking -- TONS of leaves down -- but under a dry top layer, the leaves are sodden. Ground is still squishy -- can't rake without tearing out the green stuff.

Will try again this afternoon -- after letting the wind & sun do their magic ...

For five days we've been rain-free and still the ground is soaked and puddles abound. This is ridiculous.

Beautiful day! Bright sun, no clouds and no noticeable wind. The temps might have just hit 60º (F). The leaves are still too wet and thick to rake from the yard, but I spent some time clearing them off the driveway, deck, and from the curb in the front. But, I'll be back out to the curb this week -- the wisteria have climbed down onto the street and they laugh at the thought of a mere rake!
