At least this price isn't cheaper than what I paid in December. I got the 16 gb for $112.49. They had it on sale for $20 off and I got an extra 25% off for using my Chase Amazon rewards Visa.

I'm thinking the same thing.

The 10" would make a great video tablet, but it's priced too high.

I doubt it matters much to Amazon on any of the tablets. They're selling them at little to no markup already, because they make all their money on ebooks/videos/music bought by tablet owners.

Something I thought I'd share. If anyone is wanting to try out Android without investing in a tablet, give one of the Android emulators a whirl. I've tried both Bluestacks (wasn't impressed) and Nox App Player (very impressed) to let me do Android gaming on my desktop. Nox works great, and is insanely easy to root and run multiple virtual tablets. Nox is also mostly stock Android, without weird addons or a bunch of pre-installed crap.

Amazon's doing a promo where you can trade in your old Kindle and get credit towards buying a new Kindle. It doesn't have to be working, but non-working Kindles will get less gift card credit than working ones. They will give you gift card credit for the value of the Kindle you trade in, as well as an additional $20 credit towards a new Kindle. ALL Kindles traded in get the $20 credit towards a new one, even if they're not working. Think of it as a way to get $20 off a new Kindle while unloading your old one.
