Hedgehogs are no problem whatsoever. In fine Australian tradition, the way to handle them is to introduce a natural predator species, a la Cane Toads and Rabbits. I think Badgers will work.

Since I note that the answer to the Karma Question is the introduction of badgers for spatial achievements, then I fail to see the problem.

The hedgehogs (or "hedgies" as they are known in SL) are best friends with the dragons. So, in SL ... you insult a hedgie with a very real risk of being burned to a crisp.

It's an odd place ... but very addictive.
