While I'm waiting for my very first eReader to arrive (the new Kobo), thank you J. for your entertaining thread. The problem you had really bites (and i hope i won't face the same problems) but you're a funny guy. Too bad it just missed your vacation, but I'm glad your replacement arrived at least.
