Nice enough hardware, but I hate Win8. It's fine on a proper PC where the touch screen UI can be easily disabled, but on a tablet where you have to use it it's just plain awful. Gimme Android or iOS any day.

I didn't like it at first. But now that I'm used to the gestures, Android and iOS feel clunky by comparison.

To each their own of course; it's a damn good thing we're not all the same. Personally I tried my best to like it, but just couldn't.

I have a Logitech Ultrathin keyboard cover for my iPad and while it works beautifully, the lack of the trackpad/mouse tarnishes the experience... especially in contrast to the multitouch trackpad on the RT's touchcover. |

Just read on bfads.net that both Walmart and Best Buy will have the 32GB Surface RT on Black Friday for $199. (Cover not included)

Which seems stupid to me. I would love a penabled tablet with intel guts running OSX. There is a company that converts MBPs but it doubles the price.

That is why despite the imperfections I prefer Windows 8/RT. It supports a huge variety of devices to fit specific needs.
