The first thing to notice is that the extention does not change, so epub3's extention is also .epub I tried it on my reader library software on my computer and it opens just fine. Now the question is what does 3 changed compared to 2 ? once opened, the book was just the same as any other epub. So why move to epub 3 I mean, what's new with it ? Quote:

O'Reilly has a short - 24 page - introductory book: What is EPUB3? which is free, although you may need to create an account for yourself.
It's pretty good, doesn't go into too much tech detail, but highlights the additions nicely. |
