I never get anything from the first batch or build. And yes I know that this is K3 but I feel that just maybe it is ready for prime time now.

You really will be pleased. I immediately put mine up next to my K2, and was disappointed that the background wasn't whiter. But the black is so much darker, I am really pleased. And my husband got the K2 (which he hasn't even turned on, yet).

ah makes sense, I was going to buy the Kobo, but then I saw the kindle 3 and pre ordered. Since this if my first reader I guess I had more of a reason to order quick then wonder if should. heh
