n518 for Openinkpot
I am just looking for EBook reader and would like to have one that is supported by openinkspot. So I found the Hanvon n516 as a suitable device. But then I found the newer n518. I very much like it's touchscreen support, but there seems to be no OI support yet. Is there anyone who started OI development on the device already? I would like to do or help doing it. But I need some starting tools like the possibility to flash the device or some hardware info. Do you think it is possible to create OI for n518 or should I better stick on the n516? bye Bluescreen |

One developer is working on OI support for n526, which should be similiar to the n518. There is only one major problem - the lack of documentation for the touchscreen controller. It might be possible to reverse-engineer the original wince driver, but the estimated time is not known.
