Gut zu wissen. Allerdings sollte man immer mal vergleichen, was wirklich günstiger ist. Die Bücher von Stieg Larsson kosten zum Beispiel für "Europa" weniger. Außerdem sind alle drei Bände erhältlich während für "United States" nur die ersten zwei angeboten werden.

Das ist eine der (sehr seltenen) Ausnahmen. Grundsätzlich sind die United States-Bücher immer um einiges billiger!

Ich habe das gerade probiert und meiner "US"-Mailadresse einen Gutschein zugeschickt. Versuche ich den Code aber bei Amazon.com einzulösen, erhalte ich eine Fehlermeldung.

Nach Info in der Mail von Amazon kann ich den Code auch nur bei Amazon.de oder .at eingeben. So, was mache ich falsch bzw. was macht ihr anders?

Du hast den Gutschein bei Amazon.de gekauft. Du muss Dein Gutschein bei Amazon.com kaufen. Wäre Dir nicht passiert, wenn Du Champagne statt Freixenet getrunken hättest, wie es sich gehört

Aber danke dir für die Auflösung des Rätsels! Da wäre ich auch ohne Alkohol im Blut nicht darauf gekommen, mit meinem deutschen Account auf der US-Seite (auf der ich ja zum Kindle-Kauf auch schon war ...) den Gutschein zu kaufen. Da hatte ich die Info von Wired viel zu geradlinig durchdacht.

Gut, der Gutschein ist ja nicht futsch. Löse ich ihn eben für mich selbst ein.

@Admin sorry habe unter einem anderen Thread die Frage angehängt und jetzt gerade erst gesehen das der hier besser passt.


Hi vielleicht denke ich da gerade etwas komplipiziert aber da ich überlege von meinem Sony auf den Kindle umzusteigen wollte ich mal fragen. Ich habe gelesen das ich die regionale Sperre umgehen kann (ebooks nicht für Europa verfügbar) indem ich über einen amerikanischen Proxy gehe und die Rechnungsadresse auf eine Adresse in Amerika umstellen - kann ich die ebooks dann per UMTS laden oder dann nur noch per USB? Wenn ich dann Sachen über Amazon.de bestelle muss ich dann jedes mal die Rechnungsadresse überschreiben oder geht das einfacher?

Wäre über kleine Aufklärung dankbar.

wenn du mit einem amerikanischen Account im Ausland was über das whispernet kaufst musst du glaube ich pro buch 1,99$ Roaminggebühren zahlen.
Zur zweiten frage, am einfachsten wäre es wahrscheinlich, wenn du dir bei .com einen neuen amerikanischen Account erstellst und deinen Kindle auf diesen registrierst. Weiß aber nicht, ob das die beste Methode ist.

Richtig. Wenn du den Weg über das US-Konto gehst, dann lasse dir die eBooks nicht direkt auf deinen Kindle senden, sondern auf deinen PC und lade sie dann per USB selbst rüber. Das kannst du ja beim Kauf auswählen.

Mit diesem Weg zahlst du wirklich nur den "Netto"preis.
