I know, H.G. Wells writings are available via Project Gutenberg and on the Adelaide Uni etext site:

But to celebrate the birthday of H.G. Wells (21 Sept 1866) BooksOnBoard are offering the Time Machine for free - in ePub, ADE and Mobi formats. And I'm sure they're better formatted and free of errors as well (the MR versions, that is) - it seems every eBook I buy is loaded with typos and format errors.
