Stephen Kings Turmreihe

Hallo,

ich habe vor langer, langer Zeit mal angefangen die Turmreihe zu lesen, allerdings nach dem dritten Band aufgehört, als ich erfahren habe, dass der gute King noch gar nicht den letzten Band geschrieben hat. Nun ist dieser ja auch seit geraumer Zeit veröffentlicht und ich würde die Reihe gerne lesen, jetzt natürlich auch gerne auf dem E-Reader. Gibt es eine ordentliche Version davon? Auf bol und thalia wurde vor unvollständigen Ausgaben gewarnt (Abbildungen und v.A. Briefe)

Wenn Thalia und bol rausfallen, bleibt fast nur noch Libri übrig. Manchmal ist dort die Qualität der eBooks besser als bei Thalia (obwohl ich immer dachte, die haben die gleichen "Lieferanten"). Dann gäbe es noch Ciando (http://www.ciando.com), die jetzt (wahrscheinlich durch die Kooperation mit Weltbild) auch ePub-Versionen anbieten. Wie die Qualität da ist, kann ich aber leider nicht sagen - zumindest die PDF-eBooks waren früher bei Ciando immer sehr solide.

Generell hast Du aber was verpasst: Der vierte Band "Glas" ist meiner Meinung nach der Beste der ganzen Serie - obwohl (oder auch insbesondere weil) er mehr als die anderen Bände auf Rolands Vergangenheit eingeht. Da war Stephen King m. E. mal richtig gut unterwegs...

Werd's bei libri probieren, Ciando hat nicht alle (imo kontraproduktiv, aber sie werden schon wissen was sie tun)

Man soll aufhören, wenn's am schönsten ist Warte, dann hab ich ja was falsch gemacht, mist


So, wenn ich nicht etwas übersehen habe, gibt es Band 5 und 6 nicht als eBook, die restlichen, egal von welchem Anbieter, sind alle von ePeP oder so ähnlich und weisen oben genannte Mängel auf (außerdem fehlt Cover und angeblich ist das Inhaltsverzeichnis unübersichtlich) Der deutsche eBook Markt hat teilweise etwas Frustrierendes...

Lohnt sich der Kauf der Bücher? Zusammen immerhin knappe 70 Euro.

Hi, imho ist die DarkTower Saga etwas geniales. Werde sie wohl bald noch einmal lesen.

Allerdings scheint es wohl noch nicht alle Teile als eBook zu geben. Ich hatte damals Schwarz bei ciando gekauft (pdf) und jetzt nachdem sie auch epub's anbieten konnte man es auch als epub erneut runterladen. Allerdings die gleiche Sch.. welche ich schon mit Thalia durch hatte. Fehlende Inhalte. Notfalls kann man dann ja noch das pdf lesen.

Bücher lohnen sich immer. Allerdings find ich 70 EUS auch etwas viel für Taschenbücher. Hatte selbst geschaut bei eBay da ich meine Sammlung auflösen will/vorhab. Habe auch die komplette Saga im Regal stehen als gebundene erw. Neuausgaben (1-3). Und nicht vergessen es gibt ja jetzt auch die passenden Comics dazu *g*.

Naja, genial ist meiner Meinung nach etwas hoch gegriffen - aber lesenswert ist die Reihe auf alle Fälle. Wenn man King mag, ist sie ja ohnehin ein "Muss". Als gute Ergänzung kann man dann auch noch zu Kings "Atlantis" greifen, welches einige direkten Bezüge zum "Dunklen Turm" aufweist - nur als eBook habe ich es noch nicht auf deutsch entdecken können.

Bei Ciando gibt es tatsächlich nicht alle Teile wie Targor auch schon feststellen musste. Das ist bei Serien nicht wirklich schön für uns Kunden und ich kann das auch nicht nachvollziehen. Bei Libri gibt es allerdings die komplette Serie als eBooks. Ich hoffe, dass Targor dann da auch eine positive Rückmeldung bezüglich der Qualität machen kann.

70 Euronen ist schon hart - aber auf der anderen Seite sind es auch sieben Bände, womit man auf einen Durchschnittspreis von 10 Euronen kommt - und insbesondere die letzten Teile sind sehr umfangreich. Kings Werke liegen im deutschsprachigen Raum ohnehin meist etwas über Durchschnittspreis. Die eBooks sind wenigstens etwas günstiger...

Also ich finde 70€ für sieben Bücher nicht übertrieben, zehn Euro das Buch, da gibt es viele, die mehr verlangen.

Na prima. Die sollten dringend mal ihre Suche überarbeiten. Wenn ich explizit in der Sektion eBooks suche, sollten eigentlich auch nur eBooks und keine Taschenbücher als Resultate erscheinen.

Hi, ich war gestern auf weltbild.de und da waren einige von den neueren Dark Tower Romanen zu haben, ich selbst bin auch auf der Suche nach der kompletten Reihe als e-book

Danke für den Tipp aber bist du dir sicher? Die pBooks sind bei Weltbild im Programm - aber auch die eBooks? weltbild-ebooks.de wird ja derzeit meines Wissens exklusiv von Ciando bestückt also können die eigentlich momentan nichts haben, was Ciando selber noch nicht anbietet. Und ich habe ehrlich gesagt bei weltbild-ebooks.de überhaupt nichts vom Dunklen Turm gefunden.

Bei Ciando gibt es 1,2,3,4 und den 7er, soweit ich mich erinnern kann, dort habe ich auch die schlechte Erfahrung damit gelesen.

Bei ciando.com direkt gibts ein paar Teile, ja. Aber auf weltbild-ebooks.de konnte ich gar keine eBooks aus der DT-Reihe finden. Wahrscheinlich stellt Ciando nicht automatisch sein komplettes ePub-Angebot bei Weltbild ein.

Hat irgendjemand anderes noch eine Idee, wo es die DT-Reihe komplett geben könnte?

Hallo, also ich habe nochmal geschaut, ob ich mich vielleicht vertan habe, aber bei der Detailsuche Autor Stephen King unter E-books habe ich folgendes gefunden ( siehe Anhang )

Das sind Band 2,3 und 7, die gibt es bei mehreren anderen auch. Problem sind nur noch Band 5 (Wolfsmond) und Band 6 (Susannah). Also den Verantwortlichen würd' ich mal kräftig auf die Finger hauen.

Edit I: Gibt man "Stephen King Susannah ebook" bei google ein, kommt gleich auf der ersten Seite unter den Ergebnissen eine torrentseite oder etwas in der Art, da braucht man sich ja nicht wundern ...

Edit II: Hab's gefunden. Randomhouse führt Susannah mit vorr. Veröffentlichungsdatum Juni 2009, also bald, für Wolfsmond gilt dasselbe, dann muss ich ja nur noch ein wenig warten, schön, schön. Im Augenblick würde ich eh nicht dazu kommen. Über die Chronologie der Veröffentlichungen kann man sich zwar trotzdem streiten, aber egal.

So, gerade ne E-Mail von randomhouse gekriegt, wenn es interessiert: Alle Bände der dunklen Turm Saga sind in epub erhältlich, werde es, wenn ich Zeit habe lesen und berichten.

Hi,

na toll! Da überlege ich ein paar Wochen lang, ob ich mir alle sieben Teile auf einmal hole, und als ich mich jetzt dazu entschlossen habe, ist der erste Teil "Schwarz" nirgendwo zu finden.

Eine Anfrage an Thalia, bei denen ich alle Bände auf dem Merkzettel hatte, hat leider nur ergeben, dass die auch nicht wissen wann und ob es den ersten Teil wieder geben wird.

(Den Titel "Wolfsmond", der zwischenzeitlich bei Thalia auch verschwunden war, haben die dagegen wieder im Shop.)

Eine Anfrage direkt an den Verlag (PeP / Randomhouse) hat bisher keine Antwort gebracht.

Hat zufällig jemand eine Info darüber, ob es die Reihe wieder komplett geben wird?
