Need a page rocker button for a Reb 1200/ GEB 2150 style reader

While I have a Sony and an older REB 1100, I still like my GEB /1200/2150 style reader the best. I was reading the other night and the page forward stopped working. I disassembled the unit today and found that uncountable page forwards over the years had caused the plastic tab on the back of the page forward rocker to snap off. the switch underneath is fine, I just need the rocker switch. can anyone point me towards one used or new?

While I can't help with parts, I can help with a workaround.

With a book open, look closley at the right edge of the screen. You will see that it looks like the pages are fanned out just as a real book would do when it's held open.

Tap on the edge (I use my right thumbnail or index fingernail) and it will page forward.

Sometimes, I page forward this way rather than using the button as it takes less force.

I have been using this one since early 2002 and did not know that. I sent the folks who are now selling the unit as the ETi-1 a message and while they will not sell parts, they did offer to sell me an "out of warranty" unit. Have not asked about a price yet.

I own a Sony 505 and a REB 1100 as well. It is just that nothing beats the 1200 for reading in the dark.....

I'll give your suggestion a try tonight.
