My avatar is an animated gif but it doesn't animate when I post. Help please.

it might be too heavy / too large ; check the maximum file size and weight for avatars (you will see this on the avatar upload page). that's often a problem with animated .gifs.

First we get the Kindle Bias on this site, now MR is biased against overweight avatars.

This nickname was acquired years ago. I was on a restaurant consulting job which required "out of the box" ideas to rejuvenate sales. My plan was approved and a co-worker pinned the name on me. I adjusted the spelling later to create mail accounts and forum nicknames.
