There was a minor update to the Paperwhite firmware released in the last day or two (5.4.3.1 from 5.4.3for KPW2). I haven't noticed any changes. It's probably just a bug fix release.

My jailbreak stayed, but I had to reinstall the screensaver hack after updating.

I'd have to check, but I'm guessing the driving force behind those updates is getting rid of Heartbleed-vulnerable OpenSSL versions.

In the continuous highlight feature (from one page to another), with FW 5.4.4, I was unable to highlight from the previous page to the next one, and had to jump to the next to highlight to the previous. The 5.4.4.1 firmware fixed that.
