Wow World Pay sucks hands down. I lost my card of 3 years because of them. I will never use another Credit Card at Kobo unless it's through PayPal or a gift card.

Is anyone else having the problem of the promo code box disappearing? My page loads with the promo code box, but then it automatically reloads the page, but the area is gone.It only allows me to enter my billing address, gift card information, and credit card/paypal information, but there's no option to apply promo codes.

Once you entered that information you should get the option to click 'Continue'. The promo box should show up after that. You won't be charged until you then click the 'buy now' button.

Seems a shopping cart is imminent (unless they use Blizzard's definition of the word).

After my CC issues and contacting Kobo help complaining, I received this reply:

I can't get ANY code to work now that I've got the crappy new checkout. It shows the promo code box and the book is from a publisher that takes codes (Poisoned Pen Press) but all I get is "Unable to apply code", even the new NOVEMBER30 one. Very frustrating.

Try hitting twice and look and see if the amounts changes. I have had that happen but it did work even though it said it didn't the amount changed after I got the error.

If only But Sony has a cart as does ARe and individual coupons only apply to one book in the cart. So when I get my 10-for-1 code from ARe I always only put the book I want in the cart and checkout. And the same with Sony if the books aren't priced the same as the coupon goes for the least expensive item in the cart.

I suggested something similar a long time ago. Basically add the book to your cart, if it's coupon eligible then it would have a box to put the code it, next you would have the option to continue shopping, add another book, coupon etc and when you were finished, check out. Couldn't be simpler, guess that is why they don't do it.
