Hi from UK
Hi all members
Just found this forum, looks as if it will be very handy for me.
My wife has very little sight, but we have found that using a Kindle Paperwhite, with the text as large as it will go and the light at max, means that she can now read her own books again after 6 years of no reading.
So, must have somewhere to help out with any problems. Looks as if the forum will do just that.

Welcome to MobileRead.
How wonderful for your wife to be able to read on her own again, even if at just a few words per page.

Great news that your wife is able to read again. Just shows another side to ebooks that most people probably don't realise the benefits of.

Hi ferretman, welcome. I'm in the UK too. That's so brilliant that your wife is able to read again, she must be ecstatic! I have low vision in one eye and my eyes tire easily when reading small print, so the ability to adjust text size was a massive plus when getting an e-reader. I definitely read more now.

Welcome Ferretman, It's wonderful when everyone is able to read their favourite book; My Gran is partially sighted and her Kindle has been a godsend to her.
