I have no idea how this site works but I provides an eReader and lots of eBooks. Also no idea if the books are pirated. **Link Removed** If it is a liget site there are many, many books for downloads.

This is not a legit site they appear to deal almost exclusively in pirated books. The link has been removed since it is against Mobileread policy to link to such sites.

It is too bad this happens, those sites should be shut down. eBooks are very reasonable so I don't see the need for this to happen.

I will get Calibre companion, thanks for the tip.

eBooks @ Adelaide

One of my favorite sites for legal, free, DRM-free books was missed. eBooks @ Adelaide Perhaps in some future version?

http://ebooks.adelaide.edu.au/

Thanks.

I searched this thread and did not see this site mentioned.

The Connexions site, sponsored by Rice University, generates epubs and pdfs with technical content, sort of like eTextbooks. They cover a range of topics in Math, Science, Engineering, and even Music Theory, and all their content (as far as I know) is DRM-free and freely distributable. I wish I could search their epub/pdf 'collections' from inside Calibre.

I would like to add my site DCO which is in Thailand but is in English. Everything we publish on Amazon and Apple is there, but also DRM free.

Do you need a feed built from the site as I can do that fairly easily as there's not that many books on it?

The only "store" I'm using right now is the MobileRead store. But I'd really like to filter the books by format and language. If this capability is there and I just haven't seen it, I would appreciate a gentle pointer to it. I'm a Calibre novice and quite intimidated by all the function it has.

Hi!

Amazon is in Brazil since some months ago:

http://www.amazon.com.br/

And it sells ONLY ebooks. Would you mind to include it on Get Books?

I can help you with the Portuguese language if you need.

Thanks.
Regards.

As far as I know only sites that sell DRM free books are open to consideration - and that rules out Amazon.

GetBooks is for either DRM or non DRM. Many of the other Amazon sites are present.

You may have been thinking about the other sticky post - Open Books, which is for DRM free book only.
