Can I highlight text when reading in Calibre?

I would like to know if this feature has already been enabled, since the threads I find about it are too old (2010 and 2011).

I don't think so - possibly because there are no widely accepted 'standards' for doing it in ePubs and other widely used e-book formats.

Well, actually.... Highlight, right-click, Copy. Go to editor, paste. There you go.
