A bit different, since I did not disagree with anyone about their likes/dislikes.

I'm in Sweden and both I, family and friends have or have had different varieties of Nook.
I most probably would buy ebooks from here-
http://www.infibeam.com/eBooks/
Now the epubs will be Adobe-DRM. Here is the doc-
http://www.infibeam.com/static/help/...oad-steps.html

Now first of all, would I be able to register this one -
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Barnes-Noble...item4d08ba87d0

If yes then I would be able to read ebooks, without hiccup, bought from infibeam, right ? Please refer to steps link if required.

@JSWolf
I remember you posted in some thread about nook giving only 250mb for books not downloaded from B&N store or books which are "side-loaded".
Now what does side-load mean ?
And is that 250mb statement correct ?
Will the books bought from infibeam go to 250mb portion ?

EDIT : This doubt is clear now

Yes. And you can use a butterknife as a screwdriver. I'd say it's better to get the right tool from the start.

I find that a well made ePub can convert pretty well to Mobi. But if there is any advanced formatting, it can be converted to KF8.

I'm surprised you can't buy cheap e-readers in India. I understand China has a lot of their own brands.
