Thanks knc1. I am having a rollicking good time here. Kindle Collections is working. Now reinstalling JBPatch. Then have to see what to do about the screen saver. Darn me for leaving the wifi on lol!

Well does hearing Don't Stop Believing in my mind count as a music break?

I don't see that the screen saver files have been updated so I am just re-installing the same .bin that I used before.

I will check out that big brother info, thanks!

To integrate Collections Manager with the GUI Launcher or KUAL, and/or to hide Collections Manager from the Home Screen, see this post. Note that the launcher script has to be edited to use the correct filename (CollectionsManager.azw2, not KTCollectionsManager.azw2).

I would recommend that one (from the Support Notes Post)
as the other one is know not to work with the KUAL launcher.

For two reasons.

1) The old one actually referenced the .azw2 filename incorrectly and requires user intervention before it would call the right file.
This is fixed in the one linked from the Support Notes Post.

2) The old one has some spaces in the folder name

ERROR Extensions with spaces in their folder name aren't parsed.
SOLUTION Remove space from folder name. This is a FIXME! for us...

YOU WILL NEED TO PUT STUFF IN YOUR EXTENSIONS FOLDER FOR THIS TO BE USEFUL.

This is simply a folder called extensions located in the ROOT of the drive WHEN YOU ATTACH VIA USB TO FAT. This folder will be created by KUAL with a single test script if you forget to make one in advance of running the program for the first time.

"What? that really obvious place right where all the other default folders are?"
"Yep, put stuff there.. in the folder called extensions

So extension stuff goes there
