(#) in the dir name, at the end
the cookbook (1) the catalog (2) Is it by design? Can I change it, since I do not like it at all? Thank you. – cordialmente, tiziano solignani, da Mac http://blog.solignani.it |

No - you cannot change the way Calibre organises files inside its internal library (there is a sticky discussing this).
Make sure you do not try and fiddle with the naming or you will 'break' Calibre's ability to keep track of its own files. You are not expected to be going directly into Calibre's internal storage.

Thank you, but I did not mean to manually edit that, I just wanted to know whether there is some option somewhere to instruct Calibre about how to name folders. Thanks again.

Those numbers are the internal {id} that links the metadata to the folder. You might have 2 versions of the same book: 1 English, 1 French. Their title and author might be the same, but they will have different ID #'s (the tie breaker )
