In April, four of my libraries were in the Top 20. Now only two are. It's great to see more libraries increasing their collections.

Also, Pittsburgh has been added. Several libraries have gone crazy adding thousands of titles since the last update.

It's amazing how e-book holdings have grown - 18 months ago, Indy had ~6,000 books and it only took 4500 books to break into the top 10.

Still, the library has 2.1 million items in its catalog, so there's still a long way to go; ignoring PD books and self-published books, it seems like libraries should have at least several hundred thousand e-books before dropping back to maintenance mode, where they are focusing on new books and not backlog.

While researching a similar list for Public Library Audiobooks, I updated the stats for OverDrive eBook collections. Due to space limitations, I'm limiting this list to libraries with at least 15,000 ebooks.

For READS I'm seeing 23,231 titles when you do advanced search.

Thanks for updating. It was becoming too much for me to keep track with the various webpages. Most stopped the "all ebooks" link. Plus, the 3M and AXIS 360 selections.

Anytime. I only included OverDrive figures. I know there are other providers out there now, but didn't feel like really getting into it.

Mine is Ann Arbor, MI:

Fiction ebooks = 6,985
Nonfiction ebooks = 1,031
Audiobook fiction = 3,435
Audiobook nonfiction = 908

Total: 12,359

I don't know how to make it display all books without lumping them into one of those categories, so I'm assuming there's no overlap. But this doesn't take into account that some books are available as ebooks AND audiobooks, so that may bring the total number of distinct books way down.
