Ever watch musicians handle sheet music? Ever watch musicians handle sheet music outside in a breeze. A letter/ledger (A4/A3 for those outside of North America) would be ideal for musicians. LCD screens that are available are inadequate for outdoor use. This is a niche market to be sure, but maybe not that small. On the other hand, musicians usually have less money than students.
I've been to many concerts where simple letter size display with simple page forward/back controls would have made the performer's life much simpler. It's a thought for someone.

I especially like the idea of an in-built microphone so that the stand can 'read' the music and turn the page automatically.
Not yet a reality, though, I think.
