Well, if the google translation was correct, it looks like they are talking about building a national infrastructure. Can't tell if publishers are a part of the study, but if so, that is light years ahead of the US, that has Overdrive, 3M, and nothing.

I hope they do a better job than the German libraries. Their system is horrble in comparison to Overdrive.

I'd be interested in the outcome.
