looking at how unreliable and full of bugs are normal ebook readers i could only imagine what it will be like to use this one..slow, painfull, crashing left and right..i wouldnt expect nothing else...

I've had my e-reader for a couple years, and I've had little trouble with it. But this device shouldn't have a lot of bugs, because it will have a limited functionality.

yes, but with android applications, conversion, bluetooth transfer, and weak hardware in txtr i wont expect nothing but trouble...

Agreed. Their device is debuting at roughly the same price as a Nook Simple Touch. And the NST is almost certainly a better quality reader.

Here's a question: would this thing have been a contender at $49.99? Or how low would they have had to go?

You couldn't pay me to use it.

It only holds 5 books. Actually it doesn't hold any books, it holds images of the pages from up to five books.

Those page images can only be loaded from an Android phone with a recent enough version of Android.

Why would anyone pay anything for one?
