I'm really on the fence about the new movie....I'm sorry, but Star Trek is about discovery and peace, the movie poster just seems dark, and is starting down a really dark path. Maybe I'll like it, I don't know.

Light shines brightest in the darkness.
So yeah, take Kirk's crew into the darkest places to see what lies there.

For me, the best Trek has always been DS9. The only one that had years of stories still to tell when it ended.

When I heard about DS9, I was very skeptical, you know, Star Trek is all about going out there "where no man has gone before", and I was thinking "how is a stationary station going to carry the legacy of Star Trek"? And was I surprised, it turned out to be a fantastic series.

Yeah I had originally made a joke to my dad about "Trekking in place" way back when, but it turned out to be my favorite series lol.
