^They have a turn of the century inspired device limit and no easy way to deregister a device. With Amazon, this is a non-issue.

You misread. I said that Amazon uses DRM. I did not say that every eBook from Amazon has DRM.

Just do what I do. Strip the DRM and don't let it bother you since it will be gone.
