Actually seeing in ereader in person, rather than hearing about it as an abstract concept, changed my mind. I hadn't thought I would want one until a relative got one and gave me a hands-on demonstration. I bought one for myself not long after and now I wouldn't want to be without it.

Give a man a book and he'll read for a few hrs, give a man an ereader and he'll read for a lifetime.

Plus, learn to scour the internet in search for books free or not. Search for e-titles that have been read years before, that were in print but not now, but hope springs eternal.

Keep up and try and read all the free e-titles that links are presented at this forum.

Collect (hoard?) more titles in your e-library that there is a good chance that they can not be read by yourself in one lifetime.

Just to add a few!

Well, as long as he has a life-time's supply of batteries or pays the electric bill on time.

But....yeah....fundamentally, I agree with you.

Thanks. I paraphrased it from another (old) saying. "Give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day. Teach him how to fish and he'll eat for a lifetime."

True. Nice signature by the way. Of course I could be biased. I've always been partial to Charles myself.

Sorry to hear that you're having that problem KennyC. I have a yearly check (due to my diabetes) to make sure all is ok. Not fun to have your eyes dilated but it's better than it used to be. For a long while I was getting it done every six months.
