First time this has happened.

I got in the mail a $10 gift card from B&N. I don't know why, I didn't buy anything from them of note, in fact, I only buy .99 - 2.99 books from them lol.

Either way, awesome!

I got one as well a few days ago. It worked and everything. I don't know why I got it, other than I called Customer Services about trying to get my Fictionwise library transferred over, and then filled out a customer survey link I got in the mail. I mentioned how screwed up I thought they were making the whole FW thing by not letting their customers know in a timely manner what was going on and some realistic dates on the actual transfer.

The evening after my call all my books magically were transffered, and then the next week I get the gift card. So I'm not sure if one triggered the other or not.

My New Yorker HD+ Cover cracked on both right side Talon Clips. One cracked horizontally and the other vertically. I have had it since November 19Th. I have two Nook Color Covers, for two years, of the same type without any problems. I called B&N and they are sending me a new cover and a UOS return label to cover shipping the old one back. They also offered me a refund instead if I wanted it.

Could this be for the price fixing settlement? I got an email a while ago about getting some money back for my purchases, but I didn't pay much attention to it; I'm in Canada after all, so I was not supposed to buy those books
