I'm on my phone do I can't link, but Times (of London) subsidizes 32 GB Nexus 7 and offer it with a subscription for £50.

Newspapers are desperate to get customers. I for one will never subscribe to a magazine or newspaper ever again. I have the internet and the content I'm interested in is free.

Get a Nexus 7 for just £50 when you subscribe to The Times

As I read it, you get the print edition and access to their digital content. I wouldn't want the print edition. It would only end up in the recycling bin unread.

If that is the case I completely agree.
If they had shipped a nexus 7 to Sweden and could get the Times for 18 months I would actually take it under serious consideration.

The digital version of The Times for iPad just went free on weekdays. You only pay for the weekend edition now.

Even so, The Guardian, which is only $12 a year for a digital subscription (!), is a much better paper and a much better deal.
