doesnt seem to be any performance enhancement or new functions like wireless update etc so i probably wont bother to upgrade

The firmware update went without a hitch but I had to reinstall the modifications to add the clock (I realized it was missing about 3 a.m. last night when the big clock in the living room chimed & I looked down to the corner where the clock appears and it wasn't there! ) Took me a while to find the files I needed but eventually got it done. I also put everything I needed together in one file and labelled it like I should've done the first time.

One last thing I'd like to do is find a nice san-serif font to make my default/original font but that's for another day and a different thread I think!

Interesting find snarkophilus, thanks for posting it.

I think I will stick with with previous firmware and Morkl's modified reader at this point unless there is some findings of worthwhile bug fixes/features in the reader or home app.

I was hoping they fixed landscape cropping (for PDF mostly) but no. The manual cropping tool still has the wrong orientation so you cannot trim the margins as much as you should be able to.

Surprised to see an update myself although I don't think I'll bother as everything seems to be working well for me and why risk a good thing when there doesn't seem to be any real improvements.

The update failed on me multiple times, despite a charged battery. Tried another cable with no joy.
Finally tried a paperclip reset of the reader, and the update completed successfully.
