Right now Sony Canada has a good price on the T2. If I get one will it work in the US?

Absolutely! It's no different than us buying it from the States & using up here. They're the exact same thing. Now, whether Sony Canada will ship to you or not is another story altogether.

Considering the power is the same in both countries I don't see why it would not work there. And if you recharge it by USB it will work in any country since USB is the same everywhere.

Huh? yeah.... last time I looked Canada had electric lights and everything lol and I heard they would be getting running water any day now... to be serious.. you might have an issue with the Sony store but apart from that......

Nope. There will be no issue whatsoever. You set the country to US when you register it & your device will go to the US store.
