Should multiple voting on book selections be allowed in 2013?

This is an up or down vote. Should the majority vote "yes", a second poll will follow as to whether we should be allowed three votes each on the book selection polls or whether our votes should be unlimited (i.e. we could conceivable cast votes for all the books on the list).

I voted an un-emphatic yes. I like the idea very much but I would prefer it if we had a backdoor if it doesn't turn out as greatly as we expect.

(I think last year showed that one year for testing - closed/alternate votes - was to long, it would have been better to change it earlier. So perhaps, if we have enough votes for multiple choice here we should add another voting in May or June, if desired.)

Yes to this definitely. I would also prefer that the voting would also be open, but feel less strongly about this than with single vote polling.

Multiple choice is my choice. Giving a vote to any book I'd be interested in reading gives me more stake in the outcome than the current "eeny, meeny, miny, mo" choice.

Yes, yes, yes to multiple votes!!! I feel this would end so many disagreements, including the contention over "open" vs "closed".

We have a clear winner here as well. All book polls in 2013 will be multiple choice.
