Mantano and the Kindle Fire No longer works?

Last night I decided to install Mantano on my Kindle Fire again.
I really like the new book interface that came with 2.2 on my SGP5 and I was surprised to find out the latest version of Mantano is not compatible with my Kindle Fire!

So can anyone tell me what is the last compatible version for the Original Kindle Fire? I had version 2.0.2 installed for the longest so I had no idea about this.

I can no longer recommend this app to other KF owners because the soft keys of the KF cover Mantano's menu. they no longer collapse.
I've tried 2.2.11 and 2.2.12 both do this.

I no longer use Mantano but, as I recall, they were responsive to inquiries. Have you contacted them and reported the problem?

Last night I did. Their support page is very confusing. I hope I did it right.

After alot of testing I found 2.2.3 is the last compatible version.

I have v 1.6.3 on my KFire1. It works for me and have no problems.

Just in case... Is there any reason I should look into doing an update to at least 2.2.3 version?

The 2.2.3 updates include the book graphic which looks really nice when reading specially in landscape. It feels more like a real book. They redid how to select text which is really nice. They redid the navigation menu so it actually works. All in all it's worth the upgrade but keep in mind once you install 2.2 you can't downgrade without deleting the Mantano folder and starting over.

I have the latest version on my SGP5 and fell in love how it looks like a real book now. So I wanted it on my KF too. I can only hope they fix the problem so I can have the latest.

Mantano Support has gotten back with me promptly. They says they will fix this right away!

So I will keep an eye out on the next versions coming out.

That's how Mantano Lite looks, in landscape. I love that!

Me too and the pages actually flip like a real book.

It also does this in portrait mode too. It makes the Kindle app seem boring to read on now.
