There is a button to go to the English keyboard layout. But if you do not like it, you can replace the folder "layouts" in the original English version of the BAF.

Does the "mini keyboard" have a "tab" key?
Reason: "tab" (under X) is the key to move from panel to panel.

Edit:
And the "space" key, which checks / un-checks check boxes.
