Kindle Paperwhite "Märchen"
Beim Kindle Paperwhite gibt es einige Verwirrung ob man die Hintergrundbeleuchtung wirklich abschalten kann.

Amazon.de sagt es geht (siehe Amazon.de E-Mailantwort), die Webanleitung vom Kindle Paperwhite sagt es geht nicht, die PDF Anleitung sagt es geht

- Amazon.de E-Mailantwort:

"In diesem Fall kann ich Sie beruhigen die eigens für diesen Zweck von Amazon entwickelte Patentierte integrierte Beleuchtung für den Kindle Paperwhite, können Sie selbstverständlich wie in der Anleitung beschrieben komplett abschalten."

- "You can adjust the brightness of Kindle Paperwhite across a wide spectrum - from low light to full brightness"

Gerade mal an meinem US-Import ausprobiert: Es geht nicht, auch wenn man - gedrückt hält. Das "Restlicht" ist allerdings so schwach, dass man es wohl nur in dunkelster Nacht wahrnehmen würde (hab mir zum Test gerade eine schwarze Decke über den Kopf gezogen).

Las mal, typisch Jo, er denkt immer, das Amazon ihn was wirklich böses will.

Ja Jo, Amazon lügt uns alle absichtlich an. Wenn Du zu oft versuchst, auf Deinem PW das Licht auszumachen, wird einen Sondersicherheit in den Teilchenbeschleuniger der CERN abgeschaltet und dann übernimmt Amazon die Kontrolle über den Beschleuniger und Jeff wird Master of the Universe ....

Es gibt offensichtlich einen Fehler entweder in der Bedienungsanleitung oder in dieser Version der FW, es wird sicherlich so oder so bald behoben da Amazon schon die Info erhalten hat.

Die zwei Optionen gibt es. Aber nach dem das schon seit Tagen bekannt sein sollte, sollte der deutsche Amazon Support das auch so kommunzieren. Ist nicht das erste Mal das Amazon nicht ganz korrekte Informationen gibt.

Es gibt zwischen *fast aus* und *aus* einen Unterschied:

Versuche mal einem Vegetarier

"fast fleischloses"

Essen anzudrehen.

Und wieso heißt es: Das ist weder Fisch noch Fleisch?

Ich stimme joblack zu. Meine Frau ist Vegetarierin und ißt werder Fisch noch Fleisch. Sie ißt allerdings Eier und Käse!
