I keep checking and still my Mum's KT is still on the 2.0.0, mind you it just updated to that at the weekend when I was checking for any sign of this update coming through.

I only just noticed this thread today, and decided to give it a try. Got a new version of the Desktop, and apparently an update to one of my books, but no new firmware.

I can understand the need to roll it out slowly, or it will just clog up your bandwidth as everyone downloads it at once, but this thread is 17 pages long, I thought it might be here by now.

perhaps..... and i know it's crazy conjecture,perhaps the fact that i sideloaded 2.1.1 first triggered the update? i know several in my area that haven't gotten the update

really curious as to what metric they are using

sidenote: loving 2.1.4, stable and zippy

A lot of people are complaining about reboots while reading books on the SD card. They are mainly talking about the Glo, but it happens on the Touch as well. Maybe they are pulling the update until they fix it.

My suspicion is more that the fact that you could load 2.1.1 means you don't have one of the "problem devices".

I sideloaded 2.1.1 on a Touch that lives in Australia but was purchased from Borders in the US so presumably the "Australian" problem shouldn't really apply to me - however still no update...
