Goodis, David: David Goodis Sampler. V1. 2012
David Loeb Goodis (March 2, 1917 – January 7, 1967) was an American noir fiction writer.
Born into a Jewish family in Philadelphia, Goodis had two younger brothers, but one died of meningitis at the age of three. After high school in Philadelphia, Goodis studied at Indiana University for a year before transferring to Temple University, where he graduated in 1938 with a journalism degree.

Very glad to get these, thanks!

That said, if you haven't yet read Goodis, his best works are his novels and please don't think this is him at his best. Sorry to stick my nose in, just a big fan here and didn't want anybody to be misled!
