Note that reviewers earlier this year described significant problems with the conversion from print to the Kindle ebook edition.

It's an interesting book, but there is some criticism from scholars, especially German scholars. Another more scholarly look at Nazi Germany can be found in Richard J. Evans The Third Reich Trilogy.

At first glance, I thought the title of this thread was a gloss on the book, The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich. I clicked on it thinking the thread had to do with the uncovering of some neo-nazi book-selling scam on Amazon.

I see now that it actually is a thread about the book -- which would make sense, given it appears in a forum about deals on things like . . . books.
