We've had an old book of poems by Robert Service in our bookcase for years and years. It's been read and reread by all of us many times over. We never tire of it.

I'm more adventurous now then I was when I was younger though, so that's probably why. I never go back to a book I didn't like though, except if they are known are classics, and I probably didn't get them, or maybe just wasn't focused enough when reading them (Or listening, I do a lot of audiobooks). |

I've read the series a couple of times, and listened to it a couple of times. Always find something new to enjoy, as I do with all re-reads. |

Have really slowed down on my re-reads since I got my Kindle, but my once dense bookshelfs have been reduced to these plus a few more.
Salvatore Jordan Tolkien Clancy (Jack Ryan books) LeGuin (First 3 Earthsea books only) The Magic of Recluce (don't like the others enough to re-read) One of these things is not like the others... |

I re-read at random, but I used to read LotR regularly, but was burned out by the hype surrounding the movies. I occasionally re-read some of the classic Sci-Fi but usually wait until the plot details seem fuzzy.
Tales of the City and The Milagro Beanfield War get occasional re-reads also. |

Oh, yes—Perry Mason stories. But only because so few are still in publication I can't find ones I haven't read.

I'm currently re-reading Harry Potter. I also re-read the Sea of Fertility tetrology by Yukio Mishima every few years, as well as Haruki Murakami's books. I used to re-read Henry Miller's books quite a bit, but I haven't done so in a while. Actually, I used to re-read books in general quite often up until 6 or 7 years ago but I've gotten out of the habit.

I really only re-read when it's a series I haven't read in years but decide to get back into. I do try to go through Orwell's 1984 at least once a year though.

Various books in the Prey series by John Sandford
Various Spenser books by Robert B Parker The Sword of Shannara by Terry Brooks The Hobbit by Tolkien Anything by Louis L'Amour Also, my mother used to have a biography of Edgar Cayce - There is a River. I probably read that book a hundred times, just because it was about the only non-romance book in her house and I would pick it up whenever I was over. (This was before e-readers!)

Of course. Done some re-reads of that series myself.
