Covers not showing

I got a question about the covers in the FB reader in the BeBook Neo. Actually, someone asked me the question.

Apparently the covers of an ePUB don't show in FBR, but do in Naboo. I tried to do it with Sigil for some test ePUB's, but don't get it to work. Of course I made sure that the metadata of the cover xhtml file and the image is correct and I see that in the .opf file.

It works on ADE without a hitch though. I read something that the cover will be visible as soon as the book has been opened, but that also didn't seem to work.

Anyone a good idea?

How about trying to load out the image and resave it in graphics program and then re-insert it in the book? I'm assuming the graphic is slightly off in some way that might be cured by re-saving it.

No, the image is fine. In fact, for some books it works. It that book is opened in Sigil and changed (e.g. a chapter added) and then saved, it no longer works.
That lead me to believe that there is something in the opf, but everything related to the cover is unchanged in the opf.

It makes me wonder whether there is an additional or missing space.

Not that I can find and doesn't explain why it works an after editing something else no longer. ADE is usually very picky, but does show the cover.
