Case changer

There is a nice little application "Primitive Case Changer".
I wander if a way could be found to integrate it into Sigil, so that parts of the text could be sent to it. So far, I've been using it manually,but a possibility to identify text with a regex & apply the case change in bulk would be great.
My programming skills are precisely zero, so help is needed & would be very much appreciated.

There should be the ability to change case in some cases in the next version. Sending to another app is something for a plug-in interface which if ever implemented is a long way away.

Actually, it's relatively easy to change cases even without programming skills. For more information see the Sigil Proper Case Setting thread.

Just 1 question: what is the function of \E in the first example?

\U and \L transform the case of all characters until \E is encountered. \u and \l only transform the case of the very next character.
