That was one of the reviews I was referred to when co-workers were talking about this book and one I point people toward if they are considering reading the book.

The comments to that review are interesting to read also.

Humm, maybe the reviews and comments are more exciting than the book?

Great review! It took the words out of my mouth. The thing is when you write fan fiction not alot people approach it the same way a professional author would. Real Authors do research, alot of it. Just living on Facebook following all my favorite authors showed me alot of work goes into putting a single romance book together.

Sad when you think about it because their books sell for about $7.99 and then you got this piece of crap, unrealistic trilogy selling for ridiculous amounts of money.

NPR's On Point devoted one of their recent episodes to this book. You can read the transcript or download the podcast version from their website.

After listening to the podcast, I think I better understand why this book fascinates so many female readers.

Ha ha, _Forever_ got passed around our 7th grade class under cover of a math book. It really wasn't erotica at all, but it may have been the 1st YA book with explicit sex that was widely available.
