I randomly found a white one for $38.98 at the local Target here in Waco, TX this last week and haven't been able to find another since. I ended up just letting my wife have that one and so now I'm looking for one for me haha.

You'd be better off buying it yourself in Europe. It'd be cheaper for you. USPS recently announced that as of May 16th they can no longer ship anything with lithium batteries outisde the US. Your only option is Fedex, UPS etc. which can easily be $80 - $150 depending on where it's going.

I recently bought one at Target in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho for $38. I've read several books, including one checked out of my local library directly from the Reader, with no issues. A fantastic bargain!

Anyone have luck recently finding one?

Called one target that had 'limited availability' but the girl said she had none. The store I called prior to this told me this location has 3....so the count is either wrong or employees are hiding them somewhere for themselves...

For $39 I don't mind calling around..

They just started selling the Nook. I highly doubt they're going to ditch them after a month.

Depends on the Target, the one near me has had Nook's since last year.



They are going to carry Nooks and iPads and that is it as far as Readers and Tablets go.
