heres another author he did the same thing to-

http://alyndayofthedead.blogspot.com...378cdd26ba3821

even jonathan maberry was a victim of him. he isn't exactly a new, starry-eyed author

http://tonygsucks.wordpress.com/

in the above site (includes NSFW language) are examples that show he has a looooooooong history of scumbaggery.

'I just finished a self-published book entitled "The Dark", written by Anthony Giangregorio, which is a direct rip-off of your book, The Mist. This book was printed in 2009. This book takes place in a small town in Massachusetts where a man lives there with his wife and small son. It seems that a giant wall of something black is closing off the town and in the dark are giant scorpions and other un-savory monsters from another dimension, that the man, who is stuck in a hardware store alone with his son, his ex-girlfriend and other people of town, must fight.
Sound familiar?'

Brian Keene also wrote something very similar to that.

Raymond Chandler's reputation was virtually made by his editor, Gordon Lish, who extensively reworked his stories:

Interesting article, but it seems that his reputation was made, despite Lish's intervention. We'll never know if Raymond Carver's (not Chandler - that would be something) original literary vision would have received more of less approval, but his later work, with minimal intervention from Lish, was generally very well received.

Exactly. And There is an article I read about the editing....hmmm...this at least shows the edits for "What We Talk About When We Talk About Love" ... who knows about other stories.

Remember that scene from the original Planet of the Apes when Charlton Heston looks out on the devastated skyline? I find the comparison apt.

edit: removed fifty year old spoilers.
