It's not about what I want to be #1. It's what really is #1. In order for me to read the Sanderson book, I'd have to start the series from the beginning. So for me, the only one that has any real meaning is the Dresden book because I am reading the series and eventually will get to it. The others are mostly book 2 of a series I have not read book one of.

As I said above, "as the editors of Fantasy Faction interpreted it from the sources they listed". So where's the mistake? It was their interpretation of the sources they listed!?

Correct, it's not about what you want to be #1, agreed! But it's also not about what you claim "really is #1"! And it's also not about where someone is in their reading of any particular series. It's about the anticipation for the release of books that are scheduled to be released in 2012.

I have to say that I hate short stories that get released in anthologies. It means that we either have to wait for a collection or we have to buy the dammed anthologies at full price for one short story.

If anyone gets the chance to see Jim in person, tell him he sucks because of all the dammed anthologies he publishes in.

Umm Side Jobs has all of the short stories you need to date. The others are just one offs for your enjoyment but have little baring on the main series at hand.

If an author you enjoy is publishing in an anthology, isn't there a decent possibility you might enjoy some of the other stories in the anthology, too?
