Question How About a REGEX Forum?
Threads regularly come up in the Calibre and Sigil forums which deal with REGEX queries.

I think it would be useful if there were a forum just dealing with REGEX as it would mean the information on REGEX was mostly in one place.

Reference-type information, such as how regular expressions work, is better off in the Wiki, rather than a forum.

Most of the REGEX threads seem to start with a request for help. I am not sure that this would be appropriate in a wiki.

It might be better to have both a forum and a wiki as one a REGEX was created to answer the request for help, a copy could then be put in the wiki.

Would it be useful to have a "REGEX" label/tag to attach to threads - in whatever forum - rather than a separate sub-forum?

I do not think it would be very helpful as many threads which deal with REGEX have the term REGEX in the thread name.

Also part of the idea was to provide one place that people could go to which dealt with REGEX. Currently people ask REGEX questions in both the Calibre and Sigil sets of forums. The probably occur elsewhere as well.

I would suggest REGEX Solved as the label if it is possible to search on the label. This could also be appled to threads where Regex was not in the thread name.
