Yes, and the Nook Tablet is the only device of the three able to do this (both the Nook Color and the Kindle Fire only accept 854x480 video).
And as even mobile phones these days record HD video, it is a very handy feature to have if you want to watch video on your tablet.

That's good to know. I love my Kindle 3 and can't see replacing it for regular novel reading but for comics, video, general, simple tablet use, I don't think my Wife could've picked out a better Christmas toy for me. I had to root it to get it to its true potential but now that I have, I have a very nice little tablet that can't be beat for the money.

But this thread was about the color, not the tablet, and I've hijacked this thread enough. My apologies and thanks for the information.
