K3Chess - free open-source chess for Kindle

Hi. I just wanted to let you know that there is a free chess program for Kindle called K3Chess. For it to work you need to have launchpad installed. The program supports chess960 and has some other features. You may want to give it a try. The latest version 0.1.6b can be downloaded from this page. If you have already installed qtKindle library, you can download the K3Chess package without qtKindle. For updating from version 0.1.5 or 0.1.6 you can use the smaller update package. There is a brief user guide, which can be downloaded here. To install the program, unpack the zip into the user root folder of your Kindle. Reboot Kindle or restart launchpad, (skip this step if you are updating a previous version of K3Chess).
To start the program, on the main screen of your Kindle enter Shift K C (quickly press each key once).

Is a Poblem with FW 3.2.1 using Cursor pad. Cursor right moves Cursor to left. Cursor up, down and left are ok.

You can try to delete the keys.ini file from the K3Chess directory and restart the program. Then it will ask you to redefine keys. Be very careful to press the correct keys for Left, Right, etc. I am sure this will help. If not, contact me in this thread or by private message and send me your keys.ini file. We shall see what can be done.
Please note that the program is still in alpha stage and bugs are possible, so do not hesitate to report them either here or to the project's Issues page. Right now an update is being prepared and if anything comes up in this interval, the fixes can be included in the update.

"keys.ini" is just an ascii text file so you could edit it with any text editor to swap the left / right around

Version 0.1.4 is available as an update package or a full download (links updated in the top post). Changes: fixed several bugs (one is related to castling in chess960 mode), improved engine parameters with respect to style of play and time control. If you find a bug in your installation of K3Chess, please install this update first, the bug may have already been fixed.

An updated version 0.1.5 was released. It fixes a few bugs, adds French localization kindly contributed by PoP and introduces two new opening books for Toga II engine (gambit.bin and varied.bin) with the corresponding profiles.

I contribute with my translation into Spanish, I have put two versions: one is grammatically correct but is displayed incorrectly and the other does not contain special characters or accented vowels (like "ñ", "á", etc.) and therefore is properly displayed, the two version are understandable. It's your call to put whatever you decide.

The incorrect display is caused by the improper Windows 1252 : Western European encoding you have used, the program needs Unicode encoding.

Not that I understand Spanish, but I have blindly converted your localisation to Unicode UTF-8 (using EditPad Pro v6.4.5). I believe this es.ini now displays properly and is the single Spanish localisation necessary.
